The Institute of Engineering and Technology – Christmas Lecture

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Will Jackson will be the guest speaker at the IET Bristol Network Christmas Lecture on Friday 18th December.

Technology has been the actors friend for many years. From the creation of amphitheatres to the blu-ray disc, engineers continually find new ways to deliver the story.  But what about automating the actors themselves?

Demonstrating the latest model of RoboThespian, RT3,   Will Jackson will discuss the appeal of watching robots perform, the value and application of robots for entertainment and the current state of the technology.
