Marilu and Pepexan practice before leaving for Spain
Two RoboThespians, Marilu and Pepexan, have been practicing new roles as museum guides at the National Museum of Science and Technology in A Coruna. The Spanish-speaking pair of robots will be introducing the exhibitions and the museum, and each has its own character: Marilu, the female robot, is enthusiastic, spontaneous and cheeky; while Pepexan is the more serious of the pair, with formal, reserved mannerisms.

RoboThespian installed in the Macau Pavilion, Shanghai Expo
Jack the RoboThespian started his new job at the weekend, greeting visitors in the Macau Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo. Speaking in Mandarin, Cantonese and Portuguese, Jack has been impressing his audience with his wide knowledge of the culture, economy and general life in Macau.
With over 70 million visitors expected during the six month duration of the Shanghai Expo, it is estimated that 2,500 people a day will see Jack in the Macau Pavilion. A very busy robot.
After the Expo Jack will start a new permanent life in Macau, communicating scientific themes in an entertaining way to audiences in Macau.
