RoboThespian will be taking part in the TAROS workshop on Thursday 2nd September.

Will Jackson from Engineered Arts will demonstrate  RoboThespian’s new interactive features including the Text-to-Speech facility and offer a preview of future developments.

If you are in the UK and would like to meet RoboThespian in person robot (and aren’t planning a trip to Shanghai, Jeddah, Pittsburgh or Haifa any time soon), you will be pleased to know that a RoboThespian will be at Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum during the British Science Festival and until the end of October.

RoboThespian is the RT3 version, with a Text-To-Speech facility which enables visitors to create their own robot messages.

Two RoboThespians to the Gaziantep Planetarium

Two RT3 RoboThespians will be installed at the Gaziantep Planetarium in Turkey by the Autumn. The RT3s will be speaking in Turkish and Arabic, and will help visitors find their way around the spectacular new building.

Prior to their installation the two robots have been studying astronomy and watching the Perseoid Meteor shower through the skylights of the Engineered Arts workshop at night.

RoboThespian to appear at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2010

RoboThespian and the Engineered Arts team will be at the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2010 in Orlando Florida in November.

Visitors to the Engineered Arts booth will be able to test the latest developments in the RoboThespian software and technology. New features in RT3 version 2 include Automatic Speech Recognition and easy-to-use content customisation.
